But in these days of budget cuts and test prep, P.E. is often seen as an unaffordable extra -- something that gets squeezed out. A non-profit group is now suing school districts across the state. Thirty-seven districts, including LAUSD, have agreed to a settlement, which a judge is expected to approve next month.
