Pioneering designer Deborah Sussman Dies
Deborah Sussman, a pioneer in environmental graphic design, died yesterday at age 83. Sussman started her career 50 years ago in the offices of Charles and Ray Eames, the modernist architects and designers. She went on to create work all over Los Angeles, including on the landscape for the 1984 Summer Olympics.
