The chancellor at the University of California Santa Barbara has declared today a “Day of Mourning and Reflection” after the tragic killings that occurred in Isla Vista on Friday. We talk to a student reporter who has been covering the story all weekend. We also discuss how the misogynistic motives of the killer are raising intense conversations about the way men perceive and treat women in our culture. We talk with LA County District Attorney Jackie Lacey about mental health in the criminal justice system and access to guns.
