    Today, California Attorney General Xavier Becerra unveiled his ideas for police reform. He recommended restricting the use of force, limiting equipment like rubber bullets and tear gas, and holding more officers responsible for misconduct.

    Today, California Attorney General Xavier Becerra unveiled his ideas for police reform. He recommended restricting the use of force, limiting equipment like rubber bullets and tear gas, and holding more officers responsible for misconduct. San Francisco is already moving forward on these and other measures. One of the biggest changes: Police there will no longer respond to non-emergency calls.
