Some El Chapo jurors got trial info from Twitter -- grounds for an appeal?

U.S. attorney Richard Donoghue announced the verdict in the El Chapo trial a few weeks ago, saying the jury convicted Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman Loera on all counts of a federal indictment.

U.S. attorney Richard Donoghue announced the verdict in the El Chapo trial a few weeks ago, saying the jury convicted Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman Loera on all counts of a federal indictment. But last week, VICE News reported that some jurors followed coverage of the trial on Twitter, going against the judge’s orders. Now the defense team is asking the court to look into juror misconduct. But is avoiding the media really possible these days, and can jurors truly be impartial?
