The Supreme Court justices are setting the stage for a more contentious term when they regroup this fall. The court has agreed to hear a challenge to President Trump’s 2017 decision to end to DACA. That means it could decide the fate of some 800,000 young undocumented immmigrants who’ve been shielded from deportation for the last seven years under the Obama-era program.

Also, a federal judge in California has ordered a mediator to go to Texas to improve conditions at border facilities there. This has to do with reports that children are living without clean clothes or showers, and are sleeping on concrete floors.
