Suspect linked to NYC area bombs detained after shootout
The suspect connected with bombings in the New York City area this weekend has been captured in Linden, New Jersey after a shootout with police. Twenty-eight year old Ahmed Kahn Rahami was shot by police, according to Union County Acting Prosecutor Grace Park. Two police officers were also wounded.

The first bomb connected to Rahami exploded in a garbage can in Seaside Park, New Jersey near a Marine Corps charity run on Saturday. Later that evening, a bomb exploded in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City, wounding 29 people. Several other bombs connected to Rahami were found both in New York City and New Jersey.
