According to a study that came out this month, online dating and meeting strangers in bars and restaurants have officially surpassed the old school wingman as the way people find mates. The burden of finding love falls on the individual, which can be lonely and time-consuming, as people spend hours looking at hundreds of profiles, have dates go wrong, and are ghosted. But there’s also a bright side.
