    President Trump has a polling problem. Presidential candidate Joe Biden has an eight point lead over Trump nationally, and Biden is also ahead in key battleground states like Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Florida. In Michigan, Biden is up by 16 points. Some Republican strategists voiced concern over the polls, while others dismiss the results as echoing the discrepancies of the 2016 election. But four years ago the U.S.wasn’t in the middle of a global pandemic, and the racial reckoning surrounding police shootings of Black men wasn’t this widespread. Political commentator Tara Setmayer shares what all this means for the president, and the current state of the Republican Party.
