Bush administration. Before being nominated by Trump, Barr was critical of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian election meddling. Today, he vowed to let Mueller finish his probe. The move was seen as a way to placate Democrats, who say they’re worried about Barr’s earlier comments.
