'Vida' tackles gentrification and cultural identity issues

“Vida,” a new dramedy on Starz, brings the gentrification battles in East Los Angeles to the small screen. The show chronicles the journey of two Latina sisters when they return to their old Boyle Heights stomping grounds following their mother’s death.
