It’s likely the impeachment debate will continue there. Nancy Pelosi, who has resisted calls for impeachment, will attend. Also there: billionaire activist Tom Steyer, who says he has gotten eight million signatures for an impeachment petition he launched.
The state party is also in disarray, with no leader after its former leader Eric Bauman resigned following sexual harassment accusations.
