Who Will Run Disney Next?

Thomas Staggs, heir apparent to Disney’s top executive Bob Iger, suddenly announced he’s stepping down. His announcement yesterday was a surprise and spurred immediate speculation as to who will succeed Iger. Iger’s contract expires in two years and Staggs had been groomed to take over. He had been with the company for a quarter-century. But for the first time in decades, Disney may recruit an outsider to run the company.
