LA District Attorney Jackie Lacey’s husband was charged this week after pulling a gun on Black Lives Matter protesters in March.
LA District Attorney Jackie Lacey’s husband was charged this week after pulling a gun on Black Lives Matter protesters in March.
California Attorney General Xavier Becerra filed those charges against David Lacey, including three misdemeanor counts of assault with a firearm.
Black Lives Matter organizer Melina Abdullah said when protesters knocked on their front door, David Lacey answered and pointed a gun at her chest.
All of this comes ahead of Jackie Lacey’s run for reelection, and as her opponent, former San Francisco District Attorney George Gascon, is becoming a greater threat to unseat her in November.
