    RESIDENT DJ 022: ADRIAN SHERWOOD

    Soledad Rodríguez Zubieta
    Soledad Rodríguez Zubieta
    Hand-Picked MusicElectronicDance

For more than four decades, Adrian Sherwood has been consistently breaking new ground, and has developed a cult-like following via his experiments in dub, reggae, punk, post-punk and bass music. As the founder of the fiercely independent On-U Sound label, he has brought the attention of artists like New Age Steppers, Mark Stewart, African Head Charge, Dub Syndicate, Creation Rebel and Tackhead (feat. Doug Wimbish and Skip Macdonald from the original Sugarhill Gang house band) to the world. Unsurprisingly, Adrian has produced and remixed everyone from The Slits to Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode to The Fall, Blur to Einsturzende Neubauten, Primal Scream and more.

Adrian Sherwood joins KCRW as our Resident DJ for March 2026. This is his first mix in the series.

          RESIDENT DJ 029: SRZ

Soledad Rodríguez Zubieta, also known as SRZ, is a music curator, radio selector and DJ based in Buenos Aires. For over two decades, she has been doing what she cares about most: sharing music across different platforms, from her work on leading radio stations in Argentina, where she developed author driven shows, to her current work as a DJ and curator in international contexts. Her selections move across decades, genres and geographies, bringing together overlooked classics and new discoveries, with a strong focus on unexpected connections between them. With a background in psychology, her approach to music is rooted in emotional perception, exploring how sound shapes memory, atmosphere and experience.

SRZ joins KCRW as our Resident DJ for April 2026. This is her fourth mix in the series.
