Soledad Rodríguez Zubieta, also known as SRZ, is a music curator, radio selector and DJ based in Buenos Aires. For over two decades, she has been doing what she cares about most: sharing music across different platforms, from her work on leading radio stations in Argentina, where she developed author driven shows, to her current work as a DJ and curator in international contexts. Her selections move across decades, genres and geographies, bringing together overlooked classics and new discoveries, with a strong focus on unexpected connections between them. With a background in psychology, her approach to music is rooted in emotional perception, exploring how sound shapes memory, atmosphere and experience.
Alongside her work, she has built a global community of over 400,000 music enthusiasts. She is also the founder of Modular, a studio dedicated to the sonic identity of spaces, and has performed in cities including New York, Miami, Madrid, Paris and Mexico City, as well as opening for artists such as Thundercat and Ed Motta.
SRZ joins KCRW as our Resident DJ for April 2026. This is her third mix in the series.
