Soledad Rodríguez Zubieta, also known as SRZ, is a music curator, radio selector and DJ based in Buenos Aires. For over two decades, she has been doing what she cares about most: sharing music across different platforms, from her work on leading radio stations in Argentina, where she developed author driven shows, to her current work as a DJ and curator in international contexts. Her selections move across decades, genres and geographies, bringing together overlooked classics and new discoveries, with a strong focus on unexpected connections between them. With a background in psychology, her approach to music is rooted in emotional perception, exploring how sound shapes memory, atmosphere and experience.

SRZ joins KCRW as our Resident DJ for April 2026. This is her third mix in the series.

          RESIDENT DJ 031: SOS Music

SOS Music is an LA-based, female-led label founded by DJ duo of Maddy Maia and Tottie, who pair two distinct sounds under a radically inclusive ethic. Their eponymous record label, with roots across L.A., Europe and the U.K., elevates and champions gender-expansive voices in electronic music. The duo's ferocious B2B sets (and their striking charisma onstage) have become a word-of-mouth sensation around L.A.’s warehouse scene and well beyond, including performances at the world’s premiere festivals, including Coachella, Glastonbury, Primavera Sound, Dekmantel Selectors and Somos, and at clubs like NY’s Good Room and SF’s Midway. Since forming their !K7 imprint SOS Music in 2020, they’ve carried the torch for femme-led experimental club music. Their releases earned instant praise from Resident Advisor, DJ Mag, The Wire, Mixmag, Flaunt, Crack, Juno and Stamp the Wax.

SOS Music joins KCRW as our Resident DJ for May 2026. Their first show is a deep dive into the SOS Back Catalog, with Maddy and Tottie in the mix, highlighting the underground and underrepresented artists they’ve championed since day one.
