Another winter storm resulted in another round of evacuations this week, but the “atmospheric river” that hit Southern California did not pack the expected punch. Highway 101 stayed open, no houses were swept away and damage was minimal.

Another winter storm resulted in another round of evacuations this week, but the “atmospheric river” that hit Southern California did not pack the expected punch. Highway 101 stayed open, no houses were swept away and damage was minimal. One thing it did do? Fill local reservoirs.
