    The Thomas Fire and resulting mudslides have consumed our minds and conversations the past couple months. It was all anyone was talking about. But, while we were fleeing out homes, changing our commutes, or lugging through mud, other big things happened. For example, Santa Barbara’s new mayor took her post and pot became legal.
