Fall TV is back, and so far the season is off to a shaky start...except for one show: Empire. The sky-high ratings for the Fox mega-hit were a welcome relief after a disappointing rating for the heavily marketed Scream Queens.
The next wave of film and television may be coming to you in virtual reality. Both Netflix and Hulu are developing VR apps, and word from a recent Oculus VR conference is that Samsung will have a $99 VR device available in time for Christmas this year.

The Fast and the Furious franchise. James Wan directed the last film, a massive success, but isn't interested in keeping that job for the future, reportedly because Vin Diesel is so difficult to work with.
