Robert Downey Jr. being cast as Iron Man back in 2008--an unlikely choice at the time--and then agreeing to give him backend on the ‘Avengers’ movies will likely go down as one of the most lucrative deals in Hollywood history.

  • It doesn’t look like the WGA and ATA will be heading to the negotiating table any time soon. While the lawsuit may not go all the way to trial, it’s setting up to be a long legal battle ahead.
