    • Netflix doesn’t release ratings. But when the streamer bragged that the series ‘On My Block’ was one of its “most-binged,” the stars of that show wanted their contracts renegotiated to include a major pay boost.

    • Does ‘The Office’ need Netflix or does Netflix need ‘The Office’? We’ll find out when the NBCUniversal moves the series to its own streaming service in 2021.

    • With more lawsuits filed, the fight between the Writers Guild and the major agencies continues to escalate. WME and UTA both filed lawsuits against the WGA, accusing the Guild of violating antitrust laws. Meanwhile, the WGA has gone to the SEC with claims that WME’s parent company Endeavor has inflated client numbers ahead of its IPO.
