Josef Adalian joined New York Magazine's Vulture.com in 2010 and reports on all aspects of the television industry. He began covering the TV business in 1991, serving as a local TV columnist for the Boston Herald. Since then, he's been on staff at the New York Post, TV Week and The Wrap. From 1999 through 2008, he covered the small screen for Variety, serving as the industry bible’s TV editor. In addition to his full-time position at Vulture, Adalian contributes TV reviews to Playboy.

With more than 25 years of experience covering the TV business, Michael Schneider often appears on news and entertainment shows as a television expert. He is now a senior editor for Variety. He previously worked as the executive editor at Indiewire, and before that, spent five years as chief content officer for TV Guide magazine. He's also a former television editor of Variety and Daily Variety, and the LA Bureau Chief of Electronic Media. He blogs at Franklin Avenue. Schneider is also co-host of KCRW’s weekly TV segment, .
