Street protests spread from Ferguson, Missouri to 170 cities last night. The “non-indictment” of Officer Darren Wilson has sparked frustration and anger. Wilson says he’d have shot Michael Brown — even if he had been white.  But polls show black and white Americans sharply divided.

Street protests spread from Ferguson, Missouri to 170 cities last night. The “non-indictment” of Officer Darren Wilson has sparked frustration and anger. Wilson says he’d have shot Michael Brown — even if he had been white. But polls show black and white Americans sharply divided. Do America’s multiple justice systems provide equal treatment under the law, or do they perpetuate the legacy of slavery and Jim Crow?
