To the Point

Honduran Child Migrants Are Deported to World’s Murder Capital

President Obama has asked for $3.7 billion to secure America’s borders and speed up the cases of 57,000 Central American children, many of whom have come here on their own. There’s support in Congress for “sending the message” that they and others like them are not welcome unless they’ve gone through the process of legal immigration.

President Obama has asked for $3.7 billion to secure America’s borders and speed up the cases of 57,000 Central American children, many of whom have come here on their own. There’s support in Congress for “sending the message” that they and others like them are not welcome unless they’ve gone through the process of legal immigration. Yesterday, Sonia Nazario had a different message for the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
