    Kansas Passes Controversial Welfare Reform Legislation

    Aid to the poor often comes with restrictions, and Kansas Governor Sam Brownback says new limits on state assistance will help recipients to lead better lives. Kansas law is about to prohibit welfare recipients from visiting swimming pools, getting tattoos or withdrawing more than $25 from ATM's.
