In 2016, Andy Shauf's debut album made several of KCRW' DJ's Top 10 lists, as did his side project Foxwarren this year. Now, a new album by the intrepid storyteller creates sympathetic characters that weave interconnected songs centered around a neighborhood dive bar. "Try Again" finds the narrator in a charming chat with his ex.
