He is the son of Orchestra Baobab lead singer, Rudy Gomis, and literally grew up onstage dancing and playing drums with them. Seeds of Baobab, Claude's first full-length release finds his continent-combining sound in full bloom: Afro-Beat grooves meet Big Apple beats and words of many languages dance around exotic melodies.
