Experimental pianist

Hauschka has a playful attitude when it comes to his compositions. It's not unusual to find ping pong balls, chains and an assortment of items in his prepared piano work. His new release,

Salon des Amateurs, takes a different approach. This time he invites an assortment of players including members of Múm and Calexico as well as violin virtuoso Hilary Hahn who is featured on Today's Top Tune "

Girls."
