Konono N°1: Kinsumba

In 2004, the world was introduced to the sound of Congo's Konono N°1 as they turned discarded car parts into instruments. Their cultural exchange has expanded through the years and they are now working with Batida, a dance producer who is based in Lisbon but is originally from their neighboring country Angola.
