No Compass Will Find Home, the fourth album from Merz, was written and recorded when he relocated to the Swiss Alps. Surrounded by the pastoral landscape, he also found inspiration in European romanticism, American Beat writing and New Wave Art Rock, with the added bonus of having progressive electronic producer Matthew Herbert at the helm. Today's Top Tune is "Toy."
