Roberta Flack: “Groove Me”

Roberta Flack’s 1969 song, "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face," didn't become famous until Clint Eastwood featured it in his 1972 film  Play Misty For Me .  Flack went on to win  the 1973 Grammy for Record of the Year.

Roberta Flack’s 1969 song,"The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face," didn't become famous until Clint Eastwood featured it in his 1972 film Play Misty For Me. Flack went on to win the 1973 Grammy for Record of the Year. 50 years later, a deluxe edition of the album First Take is out and we offer an unreleased track called"Groove Me."
