UK DJ, producer, drum ‘n’ bass revitalist, and songcrafter extraordinaire Nia Archives has yet to release a full length album. While her excellent EPs like last year’s Sunrise Bang Ur Head Against Tha Wall have caused quite a stir (including a spot on KCRW’s Top 23 Albums of 2023), her official debut LP — Silence Is Loud — will drop on April 12 via Hijinxx / Island. You’ll hear the frenetic-yet-melodic title cut during this FREAKS ONLY. Plus, the downtempo atmospherics of Sweatson Klank’s “Summer Chronicles” and the dreamy minimalism of Bien et Toi’s “Signs.”
