    An LA Climate Conference with China

    The Presidents of the US and China have agreed to fight against climate change. Now, Los Angeles is one of 10 American cities signing up with 10 cities in China — all promising the "intent" to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases. We ask Mayor Eric Garcetti if "intent" is enough to make a real difference.

Now, Los Angeles is one of 10 American cities signing up with 10 cities in China — all promising the "intent" to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases. We ask Mayor Eric Garcetti if "intent" is enough to make a real difference.

    Also, Salt Lake City has reduced chronic homelessness by 91% in the past 10 years. Would the same strategy that worked in Utah help clean up Skid Row?

      Lloyd Pendleton left a job with the Ford Motor Company for the Welfare Department of the Church of Latter Day Saints. In 2006, he took over Utah's Homeless Task Force with the goal of ending chronic homeless in the next ten years. So far, he's cut it by 91%. Today, he's visiting Los Angeles and joining our program.
