California Fires Near Goleta and Big Sur

The Gap fire north of Goleta and Santa Barbara doubled in size overnight to 2,400 acres due to “sundowner” winds blowing flames down hill toward some 200 structures.Up the coast, a resort destination and sub-culture known all over the world is more threatened than ever. All 850 residents of Big Sur have been told to evacuate, but not all are obeying the order.
