City Hall Takes on Homeless Encampments
LA's homeless population is on the increase, especially downtown and in Venice. As those neighborhoods gentrify, complaints about unsafe and unsightly homeless encampments are increasing, too. Now the City Council is making it easier to break up those encampments — in the process making it harder for the homeless to keep track of what possessions they have.

Now the City Council is making it easier to break up those encampments — in the process making it harder for homeless people to keep track of what possessions they have.
