Iranian President Ahmadinejad Begins Second Term

In today's inaugural address, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told Iranians, "We need to join forces." As if to dramatize the point, major reformers, including a faction of parliament, boycotted the ceremony. Outside on the streets of Tehran, opposition protesters were outnumbered by riot police. Los Angeles Times correspondent Borjou Daragahi is a veteran of many years in Iran.
