New Rules for Sharing the Road

Every driver in California has seen motorcycles weave through the traffic on roads and freeways. "Lane splitting" is not illegal, but it's not legal either — at least not yet. AB 51 would make it part of the Vehicle Code. It passed the Assembly by a big margin, and it's on the way to the Senate.
