Sheriff's Candidate Todd Rogers

In January, Lee Baca retired from office a year short of completing his fourth term. His replacement, Interim Sheriff John Scott, is not running and this is the first time in decades that no incumbent's name has appeared on the ballot. We've been interviewing seven candidates one at a time, and today we welcome Assistant Sheriff Todd Rogers, a veteran of 29 years, who's also a member of the City Council in Lakewood.
