    Jamiel Shaw, Jr. was a football star and a good student. He was gunned down, allegedly by a gang member—an illegal immigrant who’d been arrested for another crime but never deported. Shaw’s grieving father has asked the LA City Council to repeal Special Order 40, which prohibits the LAPD from arresting people for violating federal immigration laws.
