Despite predictions of a race so tight the results might be delayed, the election was over by early on Wednesday morning. Councilman Eric Garcetti will be the next Mayor of Los Angeles. Controller Wendy Greuel will be out of a job. We speak with the men who headed the winning and losing campaigns, Bill Carrick, senior strategist for Garcetti, and John Shallman, who played the same role for Greuel.
