    Which Way, L.A.?

    The Demise of Chivas USA

    Southern California still has the Galaxy but, with crowds declining after 10 years in Los Angeles, Major League Soccer, which owns the franchise, has shut down Chivas USA, a team named for Chivas of Guadalajara in Mexico.  Major League Soccer still believes that Southern California can support two teams.  It’s expected to award an expansion franchise on Thursday.
