The First Women’s-Only Mosque in the US – Right Here in LA

Last Friday was the first day of prayer in the Women’s Mosque of America, located in downtown Los Angeles. It’s available only to women—the first of its kind in the United States. More than 100 women gathered at the nonprofit house of worship, which promises Muslim women they can “bring their whole self.”
