The track “Violent Sea” is a dramatic slice of chillwave that pretty brilliantly splits the difference between M83‘s cinematic grandeur and Memory Tapes‘ lo-fi bedroom gliss and Cocteau Twins‘ ethereal chorus.

A collaboration between Philly’s CSLSX and Swedish next wave shoegazers I Break Horses, “Violent Sea” rises and RISES and effectively spirals upward in endless crescendo…but it works. It is a beautifully haunting thing which you can download FREE at CSLSX’s soundcloud page.

You’re welcome, forever.
