Disclosure Gets the Toro Y Moi Treatment

After a seriously gamechanging series of live performances at Coachella, UK House sensation Disclosure is set to release their highly anticipated debut LP “Settle” on June 4.

Their singles “White Noise” and “You & Me” are becoming ubiquitous summer anthems, so hearing remixes of the tracks is a rad way of hearing them again for the first time.

So it goes with wunderkind Chaz Bundick’s twitchily soulful Toro Y Moi remix of “You & Me“. Applying a cut-up sample technique on Eliza Doolittle’s vocal, Bundick ratchets up the tracks sensual tension while adding slightly decaying keys that give it a woozy quality that feels like a first kiss, even though we’ve kissed this track before.

Then, seemingly out of nowhere, the outro on the track seals the deal and takes you home as it turns into a freaky track for 50 seconds of don’t tell ya momma, don’t tell ya friends. It’s a heater.
