As part of our Fandom series we have Hamilton Leithauser from The Walkmen telling us about one of his favorite new artists.

I recently got a bunch of Will Oldham‘s newer records, and the backup singer on his “Wolfroy Goes to Town” really grabbed me.

Turns out it was this girl Angel Olsen, who has her own career as a singer/songwriter.

I got a bunch of her stuff and saw that she and I will be playing a bunch of the same festivals in Europe this summer, so I look forward to seeing her live.

Here’s one I like called “White Fire“.
