I’ve always loved “Wild Heart” but after I saw this video of Stevie Nicks singing an early version of it backstage while getting her make-up done, my love for the song just grew my leaps and bounds. It’s so pure.
It sincerely gives me chills every time I watch it.
Interestingly enough, it was this video that prompted KCRW DJ Valida to cover the track.

One night touring multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter Justine played me that YouTube video, recorded backstage at a Rolling Stone magazine photo shoot, and I nearly fell over.
That night, I didn’t let her leave my house until we recorded all the vocal tracks.
She was back a few days later to lay down some guitar parts and then I went to work adding in the beats.
That was just over a year ago. We both got busy and life got in the way…But in the end, here we are…Our gift to You, with Love. Happy Valentine’s Day!”
