When one thinks of the superstars of trip-hop, the mind inevitably calls up artists such as Massive Attack, Portishead and Tricky. But Morcheeba are up there amongst the greats, notable for their longevity and their often pop-leaning tendencies.

“Make Believer” comes from their forth-coming eighth full-length album, “Head Up High“ (and their second since vocalist Skye Edwards’ return after a few years’ absence).

Emphasizing the dubby side of the trip-hop sound, the track bounces around Skye’s catchy vocals and the Godfrey brothers’ spacious production.

Morcheeba –“Make Believer”

It’s a worthy addition to Morcheeba’s rich mine of contributions to the contemporary music scene and a seductive teaser for the new album.
