Subsuelo is a global bass crew that puts on parties celebrating the best dance music in a variety of genres –cumbia, electro, tropical funk, moombahton, trap, hip hop and more.

They are taking it to the next level THIS Friday, October 11 at the BootlegTheater with LosTres Marks, bringing together three of LA’s most innovative beatmakers around, who all happen to be named Mark!

And, to celebrate the occasion, they’ve each offered us an exclusive track as a free download.

DJ Nu-Mark, who found fame as a member of Jurassic 5, has been spinning for two decades and has a collection of more than 35,000 records. He shares an unreleased mix of the track “Our Generation”, which was originally on his debut solo album “Broken Sunlight”. This “Cali Mix” will be available on 45 later this month.

Mark de Clive-Lowe started out playing straight-ahead jazz, before exploring the boundaries of live composition. His stage show is essentially an impromptu studio production created from scratch – using drum machines, keyboards and effects – so each one is entirely unique.

He’s giving us a sneak peek at his forthcoming 7″, “Midnight Snacks vol. 1″, which he describes as “late night studio creations that come together spontaneously when I get hungry for some music!”

Money Mark is the alias of Mark Ramos-Nishita, a keyboardist whose funky, retro-flavored riffs earned him the unofficial title of the fourth Beastie Boy. He’s released a handful of solo albums and today’s treat is an unreleased b-side from his 1996 solo debut “Keyboard Repair”.

The folks behind Subsuelo say you can expect “experimental electro-analog wizardry, circuit bending, rhythm reimagining, sound looping, ch-ch-ch-chopping and general weirdness” on this special evening.

BONUS: Aside from putting on parties, the Subsuelo crew also creates music of their own and would like to offer an exclusive new song from their forthcoming album “Idad Y Vuelta”,out December 3. Check out “Rumba del Callejon“below and download it here.
