‘Tis the season to cuddle under a weighted blanket, listen to your favorite records, and drink some hot cocoa. But, don’t get too cozy, because you’ll miss some great live music from Bedouine, Allah-las, and more this holiday season!

Before we dive in to December – a special announcement for next month. KCRW Presents Innovative Leisure’s 10 Year Anniversary Weekender at Pappy & Harriet’s on Friday, January 17 and Saturday, January 18. The LA-based label will be celebrating 10 years with performances and DJ sets from their roster of heavy-hitters. Enjoy the weekend in Pioneertown and catch sets from Claude Fontaine, Hanni El Khatib, Nick Waterhouse, Nosaj Thing and special guests! Tickets are on sale now but head over to our new giveaway portal for your chance to win weekend passes.

Here are shows coming up in the next couple weeks:

On Wednesday, December 4, the Wiltern will host a special screening of “The Biggest Little Farm” with the Hollywood Chamber Orchestra performing Jeff Beal’s score, live to picture and followed by a panel discussion with the composer and filmmakers. Listen to Evan Kleiman’s Good Food interview with John and Molly Chester of Apricot Lane Farms .

Coming up next week, LA’s own Automatic, one of our favorite new artists of 2019, is performing at Zebulon on Friday, December 13. The Stones Throw trio made a name for themselves in the DIY music scene and have grown their audience opening up for Bauhaus at the Palladium in early November. They’ll be performing live on Morning Becomes Eclectic on Thursday, December 12 (heads up, we’ll be doing a ticket giveaway to their Zebulon show too).

Here’s your two week round up!

Wednesday, December 4, The Biggest Little Farm Live to Picture at the Wiltern

Wednesday, December 11 Bedouine at the Troubadour

Thursday, December 12, Allah-las at The Mayan

Friday, December 13, Automatic at Zebulon

Monday, December 16, DIIV at the Lodge Room

Tuesday, December 31, Prohibition NYE 2020 with RAC at Union Station

    See you at the show!
