The quartet – who have previously collaborated with N*E*R*D, produced for Mac Miller and toured with Wiz Khalifa – have offered up a few well-received dreamy, electro-pop singles in preparation for their full length debut release on October 22 and we’re happy to premiere their latest.
There are echoes of early Phoenix in this danceable love song, “Truth”.
From the band:
“”The Truth” was written for our friends and family who have supported us along the way. The chorus is in reference to telling them about the exciting opportunities that are often presented but rarely seem to pan out as planned. Sometimes, sure things turn out to be empty promises but our friends are always there to refill us with hope.”
KCRW DJ Jason Kramer has his eye on them and has high hopes.
The band plays their album release party on October 21 at Sonos Studio. Check out their other tour dates here.
